Lumin – Social (“Lumin,” “we,” “us”) respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how copyright and intellectual property issues are handled on the platform.
This policy works alongside the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.
1. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you post on Lumin.
By uploading, posting, or sharing content, you represent and warrant that:
You own the content or
You have the legal right, license, or permission to use and share it
Do not post content you do not have the right to use.
2. Copyright Infringement
Lumin does not allow content that infringes on:
Copyrights
Trademarks
Trade dress
Other intellectual property rights
Examples of infringement include:
Uploading copyrighted images or videos without permission
Posting content copied from another creator without authorization
Using logos or branding in a misleading or unauthorized manner
3. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notices)
If you believe content on Lumin infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice.
Required Information
Your notice must include:
A description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
Identification of the infringing content (including URLs or usernames)
Your contact information (name, email)
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate
Your physical or electronic signature

Incomplete notices may not be processed.
4. Lumin’s Response to DMCA Notices
Upon receiving a valid notice, Lumin may:
Remove or disable access to the reported content
Notify the user who posted the content
Take additional action as required by law
Repeat copyright violations may result in account suspension or termination.
5. Counter-Notifications
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification.
Counter-Notice Must Include
Identification of the removed content
A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification
Your name and contact information
Consent to jurisdiction in the United States
Your physical or electronic signature
Counter-notices should be sent to lumin.app@outlook.com.
If required by law, the original reporting party may be notified.
6. Repeat Infringers
Lumin reserves the right to:
Track copyright violations
Restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts of repeat infringers
This applies regardless of account size or popularity.
7. Trademarks & Branding
You may not:
Impersonate brands or individuals
Use trademarks in a misleading or deceptive way
Create accounts or content intended to confuse others
Lumin branding, logos, and trademarks may not be used without written permission.
8. License to Operate the Platform
By posting content on Lumin, you grant Lumin a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and process that content solely to operate and improve the App.
This license ends when content is deleted, except where retention is legally required.
9. Abuse of IP Reporting
Submitting false or abusive copyright claims may result in:
Report rejection
Account restrictions
Suspension or termination
10. Legal Compliance
Lumin complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws and will cooperate with valid legal requests.
11. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or operational changes. Updates will be posted publicly with a revised date.
