General Clothing Care Instructions:
Reading Labels: Always check the care label on your garment before cleaning. It provides valuable instructions about the material and how to care for it.
Washing: As a general rule, wash your clothes in cold water to preserve colors and prevent shrinkage. Use a gentle cycle for delicate items.
Detergent: Use a high-quality detergent. Non-chlorine bleach can be used for whites and light colors when needed. For darker clothes, consider using a detergent designed to preserve colors.
Drying: Whenever possible, air-dry your clothes by laying them flat or hanging them up to dry. If you need to use a dryer, choose the low heat or delicate cycle to reduce damage from high temperatures.
Delicate Items: Hand wash delicate items or use a washing machine's delicate cycle. Place items like lingerie or knitwear in a mesh bag to protect them during washing.
Denim Care: It's recommended to wash denim as little as possible to maintain its shape and color. When you do wash your jeans, turn them inside out and use cold water.
Stain Removal: Treat stains immediately. Do not iron stained clothes as heat can set stains, making them permanent.
Remember, every garment is unique, so always check the care label first. These general instructions should be adjusted depending on the specific care instructions of each garment.
